Hi, This is Valerie, Better known as Mrs Travel Bug.

When my husband and I began to travel the world together he opened my eyes to things many people will never see or hear about. 

We've been to many countries rich and poor, Some I can't even remember until I look back on our many pictures. 

​

Sometimes we would travel for two months straight, and during those times I would see kids on the street.  I would ask them why they were not in school, and their response would be they needed money for uniforms, pencils, paper, and notebooks with a book bag.

​

I say all of this to say it wasn't until I went to these beautiful places that my eyes were opened to all of my blessings. Now it's my time to be a blessing to others.

That's the reason why I started giving out backpacks and school supplies to needy children in my husband's country of Jamaica.
